This project was a video script I wrote for Tennis Plus, a YouTube tennis channel with around 50,000 subscribers.

I worked closely with the owner of the channel to craft a script that looked at Serbian world No. 1 and all-time great Novak Djokovic's loss at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California, and his struggles in early 2024.

I tapped into my decades of experience as a tennis player and viewer to put together a script that would be both entertaining and informative for fans of Djokovic and of the sport in general.

The first part of the script focused on Djokovic's shocking loss to Italian lucky loser Luca Nardi in his second match at Indian Wells. I went over five possible reasons for the loss and counted them down from the least important explanation to the most important.

Then I transitioned to the second part of the video, which looked back at Djokovic's performance at the Australian Open. I examined five narratives on social media that attempt to explain his subpar results and gave my assessment of each one.

The idea of having five factors and five narratives was to give a reason for viewers to continue watching the video to the end (to find out what all those factors/narratives were).
